| 2001-Present |
Kern & Co., LLC has provided and continues to
provide full service engineering, architectural design, and surveying services to
its valued clients. |
| 2006 |
Expanding to staff levels beyond 50 persons allowed Kern & Co., LLC
to expand into an additional building. This expansion relocated
surveying, human resources and civil contract administration. |
| 2002 |
With the resulting growth and expansion both Mark D. Crapps,
R.L.A., Landscape Architect and Thomas D. Olson, A.I.A., Architect were offered
ownership within the company. |
| 2001 |
Establishing a new corporation, Kern & Co., LLC
Terry M. Coleman, R.L.S. partnered with John S. Kern, P.E. With this partnership,
the growth of the company continued to provide increased engineering, architectural,
and surveying services to the southeast Georgia area. |
| 1976 - 2001 |
Operating as John S. Kern, P.E., P.C. and under the leadership of
John Kern, the company grew to a staff level of fifteen plus. Engineering services
of structural design and civil design expanded to include surveying, land planning,
and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design. With continued growth,
architectural design services were added to provide total in-house
engineering/architectural services. |

The beginnings of Kern & Co., LLC were germinated
as an individually owned company known as John S. Kern, P.E., P.C., providing
structural/civil engineering design services. |
